News: From the Inside Out - A Leadership Programme Changing the Way we Work, Lead and Live

Expanded Programme Options Announced in Response to Growing Interest

London, UK – 14th May 2025Inside Out Leadership, the resilience-building leadership development programme created by Astrid Korin, Maggie Farrar and Roger Bretherton, is evolving as word of mouth recommendations generate substantial growth in demand.

Originally launched in 2023 for leaders in education, the programme has steadily drawn interest from other industries - including healthcare, financial services, communications, and the corporate sector - at a time when many leaders are seeking a more grounded and sustainable approach to their work.

Inside Out supports leaders in building deeper self-awareness, resilience, and the capacity to lead authentically, all of which contribute to enhanced wellbeing - especially during times of pressure or change. Over the past six months, the programme’s format has evolved to meet the varied needs of a broader participant base. Organisations can now choose from face-to-face, online, and hybrid models, depending on what suits their context best.

Astrid Korin, co-founder and executive coach, said: “We’re meeting people who are hungry for a different kind of leadership - one rooted in honesty, compassion, and responsibility. Inside Out isn’t a quick fix; it’s a space to reflect, reset, and reconnect with what matters most. With a statistically significant positive impact across all measures (as judged by a third party evaluator), we know it works. And, we know we can do even better.”

Maggie Farrar, co-founder, added: “We’ve listened closely to what participants have found most helpful, and continuously shaped the programme around their feedback. This work is for people who care deeply about how they show up - for themselves, their teams, and their wider communities.”

Recent changes in the world of work - from ongoing organisational change to a greater awareness of burnout - have reinforced the need for development that goes beyond tools and tactics. The programme supports leaders to:

  • Build awareness of the internal patterns that shape how they think, feel and lead

  • Cultivate self-compassion and deepen empathy for others, even when the heat is on

  • Strengthen agency by making intentional choices about how to respond and where to focus their energy

In May 2025, Inside Out Leadership launched Sustaining and Going Deeper, a follow-on programme for past participants. This next phase supports people to integrate their learning over time, with a focus on community, continuity, and sustained reflection.

Astrid Korin said: “Our alumni have told us they value the relationships and insights that emerged during the programme - and want ways to stay connected and keep growing. This next step is about honouring that.”

The next open cohort begins in late September 2025, with a waiting list for dates to be released for a January 2026 start. The team also partners with organisations to deliver tailored in-house cohorts, two of which are currently underway and others that are in planning stages for autumn 2025.
